1. Ordering by Mail
Most of our plants are grown in 1 gallon containers; a few in beds. Each plant is dug up, or removed from its pot for shipping, and their root balls are enclosed in a plastic bag. Unless you request a later date, we usually ship within 10 days of receiving your order. We will notify you of any delays, or if we are out of a certain plant; however, including a list of a few alternatives on your order can help avoid this.
2. Shipping Information
We ship all season here on the West coast, and we will ship anywhere in the U.S., anytime. We generally use UPS, which takes approximately 2-3 days on the West coast and 6-10 on the East coast. Customers should remember that certain times of year there might be very cold or hot weather between here and there, and during such weather we will ship with the Second Day Air service, and must charge accordingly. We are happy to make arrangements that suit your needs, but we want to make sure your plant arrives alive and well.
3. Will Call/Delayed Shipping
If you would like to reserve a plant to pick up at our nursery, we can put it aside for you for 1-2 weeks. Mail order customers who need to delay shipment until better planting weather can indicate this on their order form, and we will hold the order for up to 3 months. If we are delayed in shipping, it may be because the plants are not ready to be shipped, which rarely exceeds 3 months. You will be notified of any delays in shipping your order, and when we are ready to ship.
4. Return Policy
If we sent you the item in the size you ordered and you wish to exchange it, you may return the item at your own shipping expense. We will send you the replacement at any time you authorize us to do so, charging you for the exchange you wish and shipping costs. When we receive the return of the item originally shipped to you, we shall refund the cost of that item, but not the shipping and handling charges.
5. Back Orders
We dislike these things as much as you do. However, they are sometimes unavoidable. When we have a back order, we will let you know. If we do not supply the back ordered plant soon enough, just request a prompt refund and/or cancellation.
6. Money Back Guarantee
If any product is not satisfactory, please let us know. You can return for credit, refund, or replacement. We want you to be pleased with your purchase. Our best asset is a satisfied customer. Remember this because it is important: If you are ever unhappy about anything we do, our service, our products, anything!, please let us know! We will do our best to make it right. We stand behind what we sell.
7. Disclaimer
Occasionally, our Web Site may contain incorrect or out of date information. Although we work hard to minimize this, we still reserve the right to make corrections.
